FAQ
Why should I choose one painting from your website, www.kimwalkerart.com, as an example of what I want my painting to resemble? It is best to focus on one painting as a visual of what you would most want your painting to look like. Kim will use this image as a "jumping off point" but your painting will not be identical. Please know that 100% satisfaction is the goal.
Can I use a pallet from one painting with a different composition style? Sure. When you find a composition that you want to use as your example but you would like some color changes, those can be implemented.
What about shape? For example, If the painting I like is a square can you recreate it as a rectangle? Yes, proportional shape adjustments and also multiple panel compositions can be achieved still using the basic composition of the painting you select as a visual example.
Can size also vary from my selected example painting? Yes.
How long will it take before my painting is completed? Once foliage is received expect anywhere from three to eight months for completion of your composition. Once foliage is pressed it takes up to one month before the botanicals can be utilized in your painting. There are many other variables in the processes and these cannot be rushed. Also, depending on size, amount of detail in your composition, and artists other commitments this time frame may need to be adjusted but you would be notified in advance of any specific delays beyond eight months. There is also an option of selecting one of Kim's available paintings and she can add some of your botanicals. This option will allow a much faster completion time.
