Behind Closed Eyes
 
I must ponder from time to time
The message within the pictures
That go reeling by
Behind the closed lids
Of my normally watchful eyes.
I must consider the inward reflections
Like the twinkling stars
On a moonless night.
I must believe in the deeper meaning
Of the presence of
Movies
In my mind.
